The place was an absolute mess—dirty inside and out, with stained carpets and a filthy shower. Plus, the so-called resort fees felt like a joke. It’s not even close to a resort experience; I definitely won't return.

This was a STELLAR stay for great value. The rooms were all reasonably spacious with the former guest's old soap still in the shower.

Good location with an amazing sunset view. The adults-only pool was a relaxing escape. Friendly staff, especially the wonderful Claudette at the front desk. room 417 was a letdown—dirty shower, poor drainage, and loud. The resort fee felt misleading; it didn’t deliver the expected amenities. Dimly lit bathroom and limited towels didn’t help. The balconies lacked privacy and were easily accessible. The grounds looked nice, but the facility was generally subpar and outdated, especially for $350 a night. It’s a mixed bag of appeal and disappointment.

The moment I entered, I was enveloped by a pleasant aroma. Front desk staff were engaging and professional, setting a positive tone for our stay. Our room was well-sized, featuring an amazing ocean view and a comfortable bed, though I expected more than two pillows. The hotel's design had a creative flair. The 21+ pool felt more like a day club – vibrant but chaotic, with limited seating and loud music. cleanliness issues and maintenance shortcomings were evident. Mold and broken amenities marred our experience. The food pricing was absurd for simple items. This place seems geared towards a youthful crowd more than families. There’s potential here, but significant improvements are crucial.

You can tell it's old because it has repairs on the bathroom ceiling and floor but they're not done properly. The bathroom is small and sloppy. . . The cleaning of the rooms is very regular. We left some coffee glasses and some beer caps on the balcony and when they organized the room they didn't pick them up, when we arrived at night the mess on the balcony was still as it was. We arrived on a Monday and on Tuesday the soap in the shower ran out and on Friday they still hadn't replaced it. We had to ask them to replace it because they hadn't noticed. There's no safety deposit box.

A strong match for a break on long journey in Tampa with exceptional value. The pool area was excellent.

Stunning views and a welcoming atmosphere

The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa impressed me with its breathtaking waterfront views, especially from my room's balcony. The pool area was well-maintained, and the lobby felt inviting. The team was professional, ensuring a pleasant stay for my family. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience.

Staff and location were very good and I especially loved that the place was fairly clean. Booked a room with views from the ocean side. The indoor restaurant onsite had excellent dishes.

The room had a lovely water view, which was a highlight. the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom was dimly lit and showed signs of neglect, including mold in the bathtub corners and an overall unkempt appearance. Temperature control was inconsistent; both the hallways and elevators were surprisingly hot, making it uncomfortable at times. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the lack of proper maintenance was noticeable. The furniture felt worn, and the alarm clock had moisture inside. A deep clean and updates would significantly enhance the experience.
